TRANSPLANT (recommended): Sow 8 weeks before transplant date which should be after threat of frost. Gently press seed 1/4" deep into soil but do not cover, as light is required for germination. Bottom-water or mist to avoid covering seed with displaced soil. Harden off and transplant outside after the last frost.

HARVEST/VASE LIFE – Cut when 1/3 - 1/2 florets have opened on each spike. The spikes can wilt if not hydrated immediately. Cut when cool and immerse in water with a hydrating solution. Expect a vase life of 7-10 days.
Can also be dried if cut when 1/3 flowers are open and hung upside down in a cool, dry, dark place.
